Dr Maria Karepova
Senior Research Officer
My research focuses on the intersection of organizations and professions. I am interested in the ways in which new professions and services develop: What mechanisms influence the development of a particular branch of services? What allows a service or an occupation to professionalise successfully? What factors hinder professional development? In my recent project I look at the formation of executive compensation consultancy. I have also done research on gender and diversity in professions and I am interested to continue to examine organizational culture and find the factors and mechanisms that improve professional path of employees.
