Dr Mark Leeson
Associate Professor (Reader)
Mark S. Leeson received the degrees of BSc and BEng with First Class Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK, in 1986. He then obtained a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK, in 1990. From 1990 to 1992 he worked as a Network Analyst for National Westminster Bank in London. After holding academic posts in London and Man¬chester, in 2000 he joined the School of Engineering at Warwick, where he is now an Associate Professor (Reader). During the academic year 2010-11, he held a Royal Academy of Engineering Leverhulme Senior Research Fellowship. His major research interests are coding and modulation, ad hoc networking, optical communication systems and evolutionary optimization. To date, Mark has over 220 publications and has supervised ten successful research students. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE, a Chartered Member of the UK Institute of Physics, and a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy.

Dr Gabriella Legrenzi
lecturer in Economics and Finance
Gabriella holds an LLB in Law from the University of Milan, an MSc in Economics from Warwick University, an MA in Social Policy from Warwick University and a PhD in Economic Policy from the Universities of Milan (joint programme of Bocconi, Cattolica and Statale). Before joining Keele in 2005, she was a Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge and a Lecturer in Economic Analysis of Competition Law and Regulation at Brunel University. Gabriella is also a Member of Pembroke College (University of Cambridge) and a Research Fellow at the Rimini Centre for Economic Research, and she is affiliated with prestigious international research networks, such as the CESifo Research Network (Public Sector Economics Area) and the Euro Area Business Cycle Research Network. Gabriella has a consolidated international reputation in public finance and fiscal policy, documented by several published papers in highly ranked international journals, presentations at conferences and invited papers. Her research has been quoted by the media in different occasions, and has also been formally taught within training programs organised by the International Monetary Fund.

Prof Fiona Lettice
Chair in Innovation Management
Fiona Lettice is a Professor of Innovation Management at the Norwich Business School, University of Esat Anglia, UK. She is also a Visiting Research Fellow at Cranfield University. She is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. The main focus of her research is in new product development and innovation management. She has been active in a number of European Commission and Engineering and Physical Science Research Council (EPSRC) funded research projects in the areas of discontinuous innovation, knowledge management and innovation, complexity theory, performance management and innovation in regional clusters. A key theme in these projects is how organisations operate and collaborate within wider networks to improve innovation performance. Her research has been published in leading academic journals inclusing International Journal of Technology Management, Journal of Business Research, Human Resources Management Journal, Resarch Policy, and International Journal of Production Economics. She is the Editor of Team Performance Management: An International Journal. Prior to her academic career, Prof Lettice worked in industry as a Project Manager within Centrica's Business Development directorate, and for a small consultancy company, where she worked predominantly with BMW/Rover Group in design and engineering projects. In her consultancy work with multi-disciplinary teams, she uses graphic facilitation as a way to encourage dialogue and communication between different disciplines and organisations.

Prof Michael Levi
Professor of Criminology
Michael Levi has degrees from Oxford, Cambridge, Southampton and Cardiff Universities and has been Professor of Criminology at Cardiff University since 1991. He has been conducting UK and international research on the control of white-collar and organised crime, corruption and money laundering/financing of terrorism since 1972, and has published widely on these subjects as well as editing major journals. Current posts include President, US National White-Collar Crime Research Consortium; Member, European Commission Group of Experts on Corruption; Member, Organised Crime Council, World Economic Forum; Member, Peer Review College, Economic and Social Research Council and UK Statistics Authority Crime Statistics Advisory Committee; and Member, Economics and Resource Analysis Unit Advisory Panels on Security and Civil Liberties and on Crime and Policing, Home Office. He has served on the Advisory Board of the UK Drug Policy Commission. He is currently finishing a study funded by the American Bar Foundation and the British Academy on country evaluations of money laundering risks.
